The Rules for Black Jack

The rules for playing black jack are fairly simple, the person holding the hand closest to twenty one without going over wins.

If, when playing black jack, the dealer's hand is closer to twenty one, without going over, he wins.

Queens, Kings, and Jacks all equal 10. An ace counts for one or eleven. You choose.

Black Jack - Both you and the dealer are given two cars. If you like your hand, ex. you have a king and an ace equaling 21 than you stand. If you have a low count like a 5 and a 2 you can hit and take another card.

Another choice that you have is to "double down". This can only be done with a two card hand, before another card has been drawn. Doubling down allows you to double your bet and receive one, and only one, additional card to the hand.

Splitting, on the other hand, occurs when you are dealt two of the exact same card. Whether playing black jack online or in a casino these two cards must be of the same value.

Example You are given the 6 of hearts and the 6 of clubs

You have the option of dividing your hand into two hands and thereby double your chance of winning. You can win one hand of black jack online and cancel out the other, win both hands doubling your winnings or lose both and lose the doubled bet.

It may sound complicated but once you play a few hands of black jack online you'll get the hang of playing black jack online.

Black Jack is always a hit at any casino party.
